This is a planning estimate. Terrain, bracing assemblies, slopes, fence tension, livestock, property boundaries, utilities, permits and local requirements can materially change the final design and quantities.

What this estimate includes

The calculator subtracts the combined gate-opening width from the fence-material run, adds your selected allowance and estimates posts from the spacing you enter. Gate posts are counted separately at two per gate.

What to verify before ordering

  • Current survey or reliable boundary information
  • Utility locations and any recorded easements
  • Corner, end, brace and gate-post assemblies
  • Terrain changes and access for equipment
  • Fence height, wire count, mesh or panel specifications
